Angel Tree Ministry gives parishioners an opportunity to provide Christmas Gifts to screened and approved families that would otherwise have no Christmas gifts. Volunteers collect a wish list and prepare tags for each family member.  Tags are hung on Christmas trees and the trees are set up in church at all weekend masses from the first through the third weekend in November.  During that time, volunteers assist parishioners as needed in selecting a tag(s) and then records what item has been selected. Volunteers collect the gifts as they are returned, organize each family’s gifts and deliver them to the family’s home or an agreed upon location.  Angel tree families’ identities are protected and the gifts are given anonymously. 

Time Commitment: Approximately 20 hours during the month of November.

Night Shelter Ministry provides and serves dinner on the 1st Wednesday of every month to Greensboro Urban Ministry/Weaver House. Each month we have 10-15 volunteers who join together in faith and fellowship to serve our brothers and sisters in Christ  with a warm meal.

Time Commitment: First Wednesday of every month. 5:30 pm- 8:00 pm at Greensboro Urban Ministries.

Helps to provide Thanksgiving Dinners to families in our community. Volunteers help pass out and collect reusable bags for donated food items. They also help organize and distribute donated bags before Thanksgiving.

Time Commitment: 1-2 hours per volunteer
